Intake evaluation
The goal is to share information about the organization and to understand the situation being experienced by the participant in order to try to identify appropriate solutions. This meeting is required in order to receive individual or group services.
The intake evaluation is usually completed in a single meeting set up by appointment. The appointment must be made by telephone. During this meeting, the participant becomes a SAC member. The appointment for an intake evaluation is usually arranged within a few days and it can take place from Monday to Thursday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., or Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The evaluation of the participant’s situation and clarification of his needs and expectations are worked out according to mutual agreement in order to direct the participant towards individual meetings, group services or the legal information service. The same participant can thereby benefit from various services, depending on the specific goals of the recommended type of intervention.
