Characteristics of our interventions

SAC interventions follow a preventive approach. Prevention consists in:

Detecting violence, taking responsibility for reducing conflict and control behaviours and raising awareness are integral parts of any intervention.

The intervention process transmits clearly identified values. These values direct the approach used at the time of the initial contact and for individual, group and legal information services, as well as guide relationships within the organization itself. The process reflects a keen interest in a social vision of problems.

The SAC offers a variety of services appropriate for men with relationship difficulties. The organization has been able to adapt to the changing and distinctive realities of its participants (multiethnic, Anglophone and homosexual populations) and has progressed in accordance with the evolution of the needs experienced over the past twenty years.
